Amreen Bashir Ali
Amreen Bashir Ali, CEO of the Mubarak Ali Foundation Trust, embodies the legacy of innovation and philanthropy initiated by her forebear. Holding a Bachelor of Education with a focus on History and Civic Education from McGill University, and a Master of Education specializing in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Amreen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Her journey spans over a decade of international education across various countries, transitioning into impactful leadership positions in the development sector with organizations like Teach For Bangladesh, EdTech Hub, and OGGRO Ventures. Amreen is currently advancing her expertise in Education Technology as a PhD candidate at Trinity University, Ireland, underscoring her commitment to fostering educational innovation and empowerment. As an executive committee of the Harvard Club of Thailand and esteemed member of the Harvard Club of Bangladesh, Amreen dedicates volunteer time to creating community and support.
Tanveer Ali
Tanveer Ali, COO of the Mubarak Ali Foundation Trust, infuses the entrepreneurial spirit of Bangladesh into our philanthropic mission. Educated at the University of Waterloo and an MBA graduate from IE Business School and Brown University, Tanveer’s acumen for nurturing business growth is unmatched. His transformative 17-year journey at Olympic Industries witnessed its rise from modest beginnings to becoming the largest biscuit manufacturer in Bangladesh. Instrumental in scaling the company’s annual sales significantly, he also spearheaded the establishment of Olympic Industries’ pioneering Sustainability & CSR program. Beyond his corporate achievements, Tanveer’s leadership extended to the IT sector as an independent director of Genex Infosys and as a co-founder and director of Frontier Nutrition Inc, focusing on nutritional solutions to combat malnutrition. His strategic foresight and innovative approach are key to guiding MAF’s initiatives, nurturing a new generation of business leadership.
